When your past keeps showing up in the present.
You may be noticing things like:
-
Feeling on edge, anxious, or easily overwhelmed.
-
Difficulty with sleep or never feeling rested.
-
Intense emotions or feeling numb.
-
Challenges in relationships.
-
Lack of trust in others or yourself.
-
Feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected.
Trauma isn't about just what happened, it's about how it lives in your body.

You don't have to tell your whole story on day one.
Trauma therapy is not about rushing you into sharing the hardest part, or the biggest experience. First, I meet you where you're at, we build trust, and work together to create a space where you can be honest without having to perform, minimize, or pretend you're fine.
A TRAUMA-INFORMED APPROACH THAT FITS YOUR NEEDS
My approach is trauma-informed, skills based, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based approaches based on your individual needs, age, and goals.
-
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
-
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
-
Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
-
Written Exposure Therapy (WET)
My approaches include:
What we work towards:
Feeling safer
Making sense of the unwanted reactions, relationship patterns, negative beliefs, and coping strategies that developed for a reason.
Learning to recognize what your body and nervous system need instead of constantly operating from survival mode.
Understanding your patterns
Developing practical ways to navigate emotions, stress, triggers, and difficult moments without feeling like it's too much, or nothing can change.
Building regulation
Exploring how trauma has affected the way you connect with yourself and the people around you. Then we focus on creating room for healthier, more meaningful connection.
Reconnecting
When feelings come out through behavior.

When shutting down can feel safer than talking.
When what happened still shows up in the present.
Trauma can look different for everyone.
Trauma doesn't show up the same for everyone. What may feel overwhelming for one person may look completely different to another. Sometimes trauma is obvious. Sometimes it looks like a behavior, a relationship struggle, quitting a hobby you love, or simply not feeling like yourself anymore.
