There's a lot to figure out.
There's a strange space between who you've been and who you are becoming. Maybe you're making decisions that feel bigger than they used to. Relationships that were easy all of a sudden feel hard. Family expectations you're not sure you will (or want to) meet. A career that once was a dream is now something you're struggling to manage. You're building a family with a person you love, and somehow you feel disconnected.
Transition can hold excitement and grief at the same time.
A place to sort it out
Most of my young adult clients are doing well on paper, but often describe not being able to keep up with what's happening inside.
In fact, most of them come to therapy saying things like, "I know I need to do this" or "I'm feeling overwhelmed because..."
But being self-aware doesn't mean you actually know what to do next.
In therapy, we build practical skills to regulate your nervous system, navigate intense emotions, communicate your needs, and create healthier patterns.

How we sort it out
We'll use approaches like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to unscramble the mess, sort it out, and build skills to move forward.
The goal isn't to fix your issues, or give you a perfect road map. The goal is to help you understand yourself. Together we work on becoming clearer about what matters to you while building the skills, and confidence, you need to get through the messy parts of life.
A process you can actually feel:
1. Understand
Notice patterns, emotions, nervous-system responses, and what's actually happening underneath.
2. Practice
Use DBT + ACT skills to regulate, communicate, set boundaries, and get unstuck.
3. Connect
Build stronger relationships, trust yourself more, and invest in the people and support around you.
